ON THE COVER
Being asked to contribute artwork for an album or comic book cover is an absolute honor. One of the most exciting moments of my career as an artist was when Portland Cello Project reached out about licensing one of my collages for their album, Homage to Radiohead (2019).
I had been a fan of Portland Cello Project since I first moved to Portland in 2005, and even filmed them at various gigs back in 2009. I was also, of course, a lifelong Radiohead fan, so seeing one of my collages become the cover of an album celebrating their music felt pretty surreal. I honestly can't describe the joy of holding that LP in my hands for the first time.

Working in comics for eight years, I saw an astonishing spectrum of stunning cover art and always secretly yearned to one day see one of my collages on a comic book cover. That wish came true when artist and friend Michael Morton licensed one of my collages for the variant cover of his anthology, Seeing Things: Fragments of Fear (2026).

This dreamy collaboration with Portland-based ethereal pop group Aqua Celestia featured my collage for their single “Of Desire” (2026). The collage always felt like a song was waiting for it, so I was especially excited when Aqua Celestia found it.
